The post-first-show-of-tour haze is wearing off and we're about to return to the road for round two of our Gulf Coast bonanza. We're re-caffeinating at a beautiful local coffee shop called Garden District Coffee. Our new friend Will provided us with some beers and support at last nights' show, and is even pouring our coffee this morning. Baton Rouge has proven to be quite a welcoming town, rivaling the southern-fried hospitality of sweet ATX. The combination of Barista Wills' new friendship, Chelseas' staff, and Cotter Roundtree's bungalo of a home succeeded in producing a successful first night on the road. Shreveport looms over us, so with coffee breath and enthusiasm, we press on. Be well, friends.
